Notifications

Notifications are the distribution mechanism for information, updates, and context about what is happening to metrics at a company. These notifications help provide rich context about what is happening in a data ecosystem and explaining “the why” behind changes in metric values.

In the upper right side of every page, you will see a bell icon that expands out a notification pane populated with updates about when new annotations are authored, new questions are asked, and when users are added as subscribers to a metric. Metric owners will also receive notifications when their colleagues become subscribers to their metrics.

We will provide the ability to tailor notification preferences as the product evolves.
